Landing 18 – trajectory
Try to over-emphasise the jumping position and approach the landing onto it, rather than straight at it. Think of an arch up, over and down.
For help with this, you can put a small obstacle between yourself and the landing to force you to jump higher, over the obstacle, then onto the landing.
The straight-at-it technique is one I see a lot with new students because they're not used to the mechanics and technique of jumping. So start off small and gradually build up, keeping quality of landing in mind.Watch on YouTube
